Things to Do in Charlotte This Weekend

If you're deciding where to be Friday night, start with the list below. It's every party, live show and day party we have on for Friday through Sunday, with the venue, the start time and a link to tickets. It updates as events are added.

A few things that help when you're picking.

Friday is the easy night to go out. It's when most of the parties and live shows start, and it's usually simpler to get in and get a drink than on Saturday. If you're not sure, Friday is a safe bet.

Saturday is the big one. More events, bigger crowds, and more lines. If something has a ticket link, buy it ahead rather than at the door.

Sunday is for day parties and brunches. Plenty of the best plans in Charlotte happen in the afternoon. Check the Sunday listings before you write the weekend off.

Not sure which part of town you want? Charlotte's nightlife is spread across a handful of neighborhoods, and each one feels different. Uptown has the big rooms. South End and NoDa are where the bars, breweries and music venues cluster. Plaza Midwood is more dive bar and neighborhood. Camp North End is its own thing, a former factory turned event space. Our Charlotte nightlife guide breaks down what each is like.

Want something specific? Browse R&B nights, day parties, or see what's on tonight or this week.

Every listing links to the organizer's own ticket page or event page. Check the event page for the latest on doors, age limits and dress code before you go, because organizers change those.
